Deputy Governor Hailed Ahmadiyya For Their Contributions In The Country

Hon Musa B Suso, Deputy Governor of West Coast Region, commended the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jamaat for their immense contribution in the fields of health, education and others sectors of development since its inception in the country.

Governor Suso made this remarks onrecently during a presentation of food items, clothing’s and cash donated by the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jama’at The Gambia at Governor’s office in Brikama.

The Donated Items Includes 30 Bags Of Rice, 15 Bags Of Onion, Gallons of Cooking Oil, Clothings And Cash Of 500 Dalasis Given To Each Of The 24 Family Victims.

He said: “As human beings is it Muslim or non-Muslims, this is what is expected from all of us. Nobody prayed for disasters but when it occurred if you have someone to come and assist you is something laudable and commended.

He added that: “We have heard in the speeches that there was no loss of life but valuables and materials were destroyed and this donation today will go a long way in easing those difficulties”

Lamin Mass Director Of Administration at NDMA represented the executive director and equally commended the Jama’at for the laudable gesture.

Baba F Trawally,  Amir Of The Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jamaat stated  that they reacted quickest after receiving an appeal from the governor for us to give a helping hand to some of the victims.

He explained that they mobilized funds among us and by extent in UK where they have some philanthropists.

“As a human whether one is a Muslim or non-Muslim, if such type of disasters happens we must enjoined each other and shares the grief and if there is potential we must assist. This is why we came here and is always the stand point of the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jamaat to love every human being and hates none,” he said.

Amir again advised the peoples to be observant in our homes because fire outbreaks came in different forms like candle, gas, matches or wrong electrification of their houses.

He urged the people to give their houses to qualified electricians than to be giving it to the apprentices.

Amir Trawally advised the peoples to always adhere to the authority be it in our houses, village or district level, governor, ministers and the president.

“Let us respect our leaders and be loyal to them always. My Nationwide tour was centered on how to promote peace and understanding among ourselves. It is our duty bound to always prayed for peace and stability in our dear country,” Amir Trawally noted.
