Ebo Town, Jeshwang Assure Commitment to National Building

The communities of Ebo Town and New Jeshwang in Kanifing Municipality have assured their commitment to the interest of the country.

The communities made the pledge to the Constitutional Review Commission (CRC) and National Council for Civic Education (NCCE) during a public consultation at new Jeshwang Lower Basic School.

Tijan Jarjue, alkalo of Ebo Town said: “we put the interest of the nation first before politics; politics comes and go but our relationship stay with us.”

Aja Binta Marong also said the two communities believe in oneness and that they are living together, adding the communities commitment to taking part in building the country.

The alkalo of new Jeshwang, Botto Jarjue commended the senior civic education officer at the National Council for Civic Education and promised the two communities full participation in the drafting of the new Constitution.
